LeftBrain provides ambitious teams with internal technology that's secure, reliable and easy to use.

Founded in 2009, they have grown organically through word of mouth, equipping the likes of New Look, Zendesk, The Gentlewoman and Magic Light Pictures with wonderful workplace technology.

Communications consultancy

At the start of 2023, LeftBrain wanted to take the business to the next level and let the world know about the great work that they do. After an initial consultation process, where I took time to understand the organisation's audiences, mission and values, I created a tailored communications strategy to meet the business goals.

Marketing strategy and brand guidelines

I put together SMART marketing objectives and a content plan for the year ahead across social media, newsletters and the website. In order to develop a consistent look and feel for the organisation, we commissioned A-Side Studio to put together brand and illustration guidelines and photographer Jonathan Cherry to capture the LeftBrain team at work.

 
 

Website re-design and copy writing

Putting together design and photography briefs and overseeing the entire process, I then worked with LeftBrain's in-house developer to overhaul the company website. This involved project managing, writing copy, interviewing clients to compile case studies, and ensuring the website design was in line with the new brand look.

Ongoing content creation

After a three month contract to carry out this initial strategy work, I am thrilled that LeftBrain have asked me to continue working with them as Head of Communications to deliver the content plan and find new ways of reaching their audiences.
