Justice & Care

Justice & Care wanted to host a gala event, raising awareness for their collaboration with the police in rescuing victims of slavery, bringing criminal networks to justice and sparking systemic change. The charity works to restore lives, secure communities at risk from traffickers and bring together world class specialists to tackle the issue.

‘Bring Back Colour to a Life’ was an event for 300 people, hosted in London to raise money for the cause. Alongside the communications team, I organised the event from concept through to delivery: developing key business sponsors and stakeholder investments, managing the guest list and budget, sourcing auction items and overseeing the creation of communication materials.

Working with illustrator Rosie Dexter, we used the survivors’ drawings about their hopes and dreams for the future to direct the visual look and feel for the evening.  Photography by Lucy Arnold.

The event was a complete success, raising funds to help save 125 more lives from the perils of human trafficking.
